The Decline of the UK Armed Forces

While there has been a lot of chatter about the quantity of warfighting materiel of the UK, one aspect is more troubling. After all, one can produce more tanks, planes, and ships within a five year span but training and maintaining personnel to man those will take much longer. Here's the latest count of regular personnel within the Armed Forces. The Army has sunk to less than 74,000 regular personnel...to put that in perspective, the Army cannot even fill Wembley stadium which has a capacity of 90,000.
